Welcome to Pet Lover APP (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

- Payment information: Billing details (e.g., card number, billing address) when you make a purchase or donation. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and we do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Business/professional information: If you register as a professional, business, or organization, we collect relevant company and service information you provide.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, time spent in the App, and other interaction data.
- Crash and diagnostic data: Error logs and crash reports collected via Firebase Crashlytics to improve App stability.
- Location data: Precise or approximate geographic location when you grant permission. This is used to show nearby services, professionals, pets available for adoption, and location-based features.
- Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
When you sign in or connect with third-party services, we may receive information from:
- Google: Name, email address, and profile photo via Google Sign-In.
- Facebook: Name, email address, profile photo, and public profile information via Facebook Login.
3. Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:

4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the App and its core features (pet profiles, chat, maps, adoptions, professional listings).
- Process transactions through our payment provider (Stripe).
- Authenticate your identity via email/password, Google, or Facebook.
- Send push notifications about messages, adoption matches, and relevant updates.
- Personalize your experience based on your preferences and location.
- Display advertising relevant to your interests (with your consent where required by law).
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App’s performance and user experience.
- Detect and fix errors using crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics).

5.1 With Other Users
- Your public profile (name, profile photo, pet profiles, location if shared) is visible to other users as part of the App’s social and marketplace features.
- Messages you send are visible to the recipients.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information promptly.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

- Opt-out of tracking: Decline app tracking via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt or your device settings.

- Opt-out of marketing emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

10. Location Data
We collect location data to power core features such as finding nearby professionals, adoptable pets, and pet-friendly places. Location data is processed in real time and associated with your account. You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings; however, this will disable location-based features of the App.
11. Advertising and Tracking
With your consent (obtained via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt), we may use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to:
- Deliver personalized advertisements.
- Measure ad performance.
We use Facebook Audience Network SKAdNetwork identifiers for privacy-preserving ad measurement. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time via the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Facebook Advertiser ID Collection and Auto Log App Events are disabled by default. Only consented tracking occurs.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
13. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
